Shimmer not sparkle with Becca!

Ok, so since getting the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal and being so impressed with it, I had to visit the Becca store in Johannesburg once again. . (Sigh, my no-buy lasted a whole two days, but I am working on that)

I picked up a couple of things.

The first was the Becca Pressed Shimmer Powder .

On last check, I believe this is going to be discontinued, but our Becca store still has some, so grab them while you can!

The shade I got is Odette, which is a warm bronzy peachy golden hue, similar to MAC ‘s Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle but less shimmery.

It’ s got a bit of rose gold going on (I fell in love) Now, this powder, depending on your skin tone can be used as a blush, bronzer or highlighter. Now, if you’re not very fond of the glitz and glam bejeweled look with frost and sparkles, this powder is for you.

 I like to apply it with my Real Techniques contour brush but a small tapered fluffy brush or a fan brush will do.

This powder is quite sheer, so don’t be afraid to build it up.

If you don’t want to wear it alone, you can lightly layer them on top of your blush for added dimension, colour and glow.
