HIT! R1000 Tom Ford Foundation Powder {Review and Swatches}

I bought this powder foundation to use with my Tom Ford Traceless Foundation stick, which was an epic fail. This powder foundation however, is

anything but!

This powder is the most finely milled powder I have come across. It glides onto the skin and feels silky and light as air You can use it alone or as a finishing powder. I have used it as both and it works beautifully

It offers light to medium coverage or as a luxurious finishing powder. The powder claims to have a light-reflecting powders for a luminous finish, on me it’s matte.

Includes a special sponge applicator to build coverage or set the look. Use flocked white side for a sheer, natural finish. use flat-sponge beige side for a full-coverage effect.

I think you should be wary of the shades though.

The Traceless foundation stick shade doesn’t correspond with the powder shade. I find the powder shades to run deeper.

I will definitely repurchase this powder. A cheaper alternative is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Powder compact foundation. It has more shades and is equally finely milled, is long lasting but more mattifying.

Apart from the price, I feel that the micro fine powder, when used as a finishing powder, melts into the foundation you are wearing and if the foundation  you are wearing is horrid,  this powder will save it.

Where to buy: Stutterfords

Price: R1000

Would you pay this much for a foundation powder? What is the most expensive powder you have bought and did it work?

Let’s get the discussion popping’ down below!

Until next time my loves

Stay Blessed and Beautiful
