Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit {Tutorial)
Drab to fab? Who doesn’t like a good before and after?
I already have my eye make up done, using the Smashbox Double Exposure palette.I applied one coat of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NC40. As you can see, it is a perfect match to my skin tone, it is medium coverage but buildable to full. It is a liquid foundation that doesn’t dry matte. I needed this tackiness so the cream products would blend easily into the foundation. Because I only applied one layer on foundation, the discolouration, dark circles, pigmentation around my mouth and freckles are very much visible.
I applied the Coral shade from the Anastasia Beverly Hill Cream Contour kit (Medium). I dabbed it under my eyes and around my mouth.
I blended it in using damp Beauty Blender.
I applied the Banana shade from the contour kit in a triangle shape under my eyes taking it up towards my temples, down the bridge of my nose, on my cupid’s bow and below where my contour was going to be placed
Made a crazy face!
I blended the highlighter with damp Beauty Blender pressing the product into the skin. While it does look ghostly, you will see it come together. It’s fine if it’s not perfect, the dark contour colour will balance it out and add dimension back into my face.
I applied Cinnamon from my ear to under the cheekbone, curving the brush upward and around the cheek area to give my face a lift. I applied Cinnamon across the perimeter of my large forehead (five head) and blended this into my hairline. I applied Cinnamon down the sides of my nose to slim and straighten it.
I also used Cinnamon on and under the tip of my nose to lift and shorten my hooked nose.
I blended this in with a Sigma 3DHD brush in an upward direction fading it into the highlight to create a natural look.
I set my under eye and highlighted areas of my faced with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Banana powder. I used the shade Havana from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit to warm up my face. I then took MAC Prep then Prime and I loose powder and buffed it all over my face to set the creams in place.
I dusted MAC Springsheen sheertone shimmer blush to give a hint of colour. I highlighted using Becca Opal Shimmering Skin Perfector on the tops of my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose and above my cupids bow. #highlightonfleek
For my lips, I lined them with MAC’s Cherry Lipliner and filled them in with MAC’s Lady Danger lipstick, which is one of my lippie picks for summer. It’s a beautiful orangey-red with a hint of poppy! Very on trend.
I hope this tutorial was helpful. I am not by any means telling you how you should do your make up. This is how I use the Anastasia Beverly hill Cream Contour kit.le
