High-shine, duo chrome, ultra-pigmented and soft to the touch. These eyeshadows are sickening and I’m here for it. It’s the ultimate companion shimmer palette from the drugstore. Nothing has impressed me so much that it has literally got me shooketh.
The colour pay-off is extraordinary, full opacity in one swipe!
Make up Revolution says the intensity of these eyeshadows lies in its extraordinary formula, in which the pigment is poured, not pressed.” The texture is similar the shimmers in the Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions palette, perhaps, dare I say, even better!
Sure, it’s a bit cheap as you can see from the scratched top of my palette, but I’d buy this for the quality of the product.
This 15-pan shadow palette is housed in a plastic transparent lid with a gold back.
Onto the swatches

Honestly, you can lay down a matte transition shade and go to town on the lid, meshing the foils one into the other. Create an all shimmer look. You can wet a brush to amp up the colour, but these stand out on their own, applied with your finger for maximum colour-payoff
I use it over a tinted primer like MAC Soft Ochre Paint pot or Urban Decay Primer Potion on Eden. I recently discovered the Wet N Wild Cream Liquid Catsuit cream eyeshadow in Camel Back, which is a great, fully opaque primer. Also, there’s no fallout, no glitter glue needed.
There are no glaring drawbacks to this palette, and that’s giving it to you straight, no mixer! Well, the only drawback is that it’s selling out fast, and you can’t get it now because of the no colour cosmetics quarantine. But once we can all revel in make up again, I’d say go out and grab this!

While I am a total hip hop and RnB junkie, I really do like Nirvana, it just wasn’t the same after Kurt Cobain took his own life. I love Aerosmith (love Steven Tyler) and I like Jon Bon Jovi.
So I can say with conviction that if they did come to South Africa, I would buy a ticket to see Aerosmith.
That said, what I would buy more of is the Urban Decay Read more
When I got married, as per tradition, my husband had to buy me 16 gold ornaments. He did . . . and then some. I got earrings, 6 solid gold bangles, a mangal sutra (traditional necklace worn by some married Hindu women), a nose ring and my wedding rings. However, I only wear my wedding rings and mangal sutra because Read more
When I was a little girl, we used to have a desert on special occasions. It was canned peaches with Nestle’s Tinned Dessert cream. Growing up very poor, and having my dad pass when I was very young, and coming from the township and single parent home, this was a real treat and we would only have it on special occasions. The scent of peach takes me Read more
